RITB Acca Weekend 28/01/17

The boys this week are going all out for some weekend beer tokens with a huge 70/1 acca. Below are the selections.

CB’s Picks

Doncaster to beat Yeovil

Don’t change a winning formula, right? Being the only team in our acca last week to win, they had to be included. This week, they’re against a 16th placed Yeovil team. Doncaster are now on 4 wins on the bounce after their home win against Crewe, and are sure to make that 5. Doncaster even won their last 3 games 3-1, so put that on in you’re feeling extra adventurous. Yeovil were held to a Desmond against Blackpool last weekend, and they haven’t won a game since the start of December.

Exeter to beat Portsmouth

This one will get the odds up. Exeter will suit being the away team in this fixture, picking up 28 of their 39 points away from home. Portsmouth aren’t terrible at home, having last lost there in the league in November, but with Exeter having the joint best form (over the last 6 games) at the moment, they have got to be fanciable. Exeter have scored 3 or more goals in every game since Boxing Day, so Portsmouth will have to put up strong defences to keep The Grecians out on Saturday.

TJ’s Picks

Hartlepool to beat Newport

Struggling Newport are already five points from safety and head into this game against Hartlepool without a league win in their last ten matches. I can’t see that changing here as Hartlepool picked up a cracking three points last time out at home to Stevenage. Their form has been up and down most of the season but this is the crucial period which sorts teams out now and the experience they have will prove vital in this one.

QPR to beat Burton

With continued speculation that Nigel Clough has been approached by his dads former club Nottingham Forest his focus may be elsewhere. Ian Holloway will have his side fired up for this one, they are unbeaten in their last four league games where as Burton have lost their last four. A good point at home against play off chasing Fulham will have the R’s ready for this and I fancy then to take this by a 1-0 margin.
