RITB Acca 25/02/17

Could this be the week the lad’s land the acca.

TJ’s Tips

Brentford to beat Rotherham

Since losing top scorer Scott Hogan in January, The Bees have really pulled together and put in some strong team performances. Including a win at promotion chasing Sheffield Wednesday last time out. They face a Rotherham side who were hammered 5-0 by Cardiff last time out. They look to be on there way back to League One and Brentford can put another nail in that coffin.

Coventry to beat Swindon

A real relegation six pointer takes place in Sky Bet League One this week in what is a must win for bottom of the table Coventry. Four points from their last two games will give them a boost and they will be looking to punish free falling Swindon who are without a win in six league matches. The youthful approach of the Sky Blues should see then sent Swindon back South without any points.

CB’s Picks

Notts County to beat Yeovil

Only 3 positions separate the teams here in League Two, and it is Yeovil who are 5 points better off. However, Notts County have picked up 7 points in their last 3 games, and have managed at least 2 goals per game. The Glovers are struggling a little in recent form, and picked up a loss against relegation battlers Cheltenham last time out. Yeovil will hate travelling this season, being the worst away team in the League picking up just 12 points on the road.

Stevenage to beat Crewe

Crewe managed to salvage an away point last time out at Blackpool (which cost CB a forfeit), but Stevenage now have the joint best form in the league. The Boro will be hoping to build on their excellent draw against Exeter and take home 3 points to assist with their playoff charge. Crewe won’t be an easy place to go for the travelling team, especially as exactly ¾ of Alexandra’s points have come at home. This will be a simple case of the league table not lying and Stevenage sit comfortably 9 places above their opponent.
